Steel Building Insulation in Oregon

For more than 30 years, Oregon metal building owners have chosen Steel Building Insulation, a division of Building Outlet Corp., when looking to apply insulation to new construction or retrofit insulation projects.

With more than 30 years in the business and a tried and true reputation for quality, excellence and affordability, Steel Building Insulation has proven an industry leader, helping outfit thousands of steel buildings throughout the U.S. and Canada. Our steel building insulation products have been tested and properly certified (many carry NAIMA certifications) in an effort to promote energy efficiency and environmental preservation, and are available at significantly reduced rates due to our not being tied to one particular insulation manufacturer.

Our Oregon consumers receive top-quality, name brand insulation, Insulated foam panels and products intended for both new and retrofit insulation projects at a fraction of the cost. We offer both single and double-layer insulation systems of varying thicknesses and R-values, facings ranging from light to heavy duty, tabs, and a wide variety of attachment methods, including banding, pins and InsulHold products.

Installing metal building insulation at the time of construction is often the most economical method. In this type of application, standard-width fiberglass blankets are laminated with the facing of the consumer’s choice, and then distributed evenly over the purlins or girts before the wall or roof panels are affixed. Double-layer banding systems are often recommended for roof projects where higher R-values are desired.

For retrofit insulation projects, the fiberglass blankets are precut to fit between the purlins or girts of your metal building, and are then laminated with your desired facings. Stick pins or Insulhold coils may be used to hold wall insulation in place, or a metal banding system may be used to affix insulation to the building’s roof. Regardless of whether your project involves applying insulation for new or existing construction, utilizing the proper materials will substantially reduce thermal energy costs over the building’s lifetime, resulting in considerable savings for Oregon metal building owners.

Our insulation panels and insulation blankets are crafted from highly-resilient fiber glass and are available with a variety of facing options, and offer high R-values that offer substantial resistance to heat transfer, resulting in lower utility costs from the time of installation. Facings are available in both white vinyl and polypropylene, and range from light-duty, low-cost WMP-VR to the extremely heavy-duty, high impact GYMGUARD materials. Our insulation rolls are are available in 3’, 4’, 5 and 6’ standard-width roll sizes, and can be delivered to virtually any accessible building site. Our products are professionally color-coded, pre-cut rolls intended to simplify the installation process.

While Arizona does not currently have any statewide energy codes for commercial structures, our metal building insulation product line adheres to the standards set by the North American Insulation Manufacturers Association (NAIMA), and are fire-resistant and non-combustible.

Our advisors can help you understand the requirements for your specific county. Call 1-800-486-8415.
